About Me
Welcome! I am Becky Crusen, 27 year veteran teacher that is passionate about helping ALL students be successful learners.
Education is always changing, so with 27 years of classroom experience, I have created Ms. Crusen's Kids Tutoring. I bring experiences working with students that have Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) in general as well as self contained classroom and even 5 years in a center school for our most profound learners. I currently hold a FL teaching certificate in Preschoolers to grade 6 Elementary Education ,Prek to grade 12 in Special Education, ESOL and reading endorsed.
I promote independence in students by developing social skills and executive functioning skills such as listening, working with others, regulation, and long-term student success.
As a certified teacher, parents qualify for reimbursement through Personalized Educational Program (PEP) & Unique Abilities (UA) scholarships through FL Step Up funds.

After School Tutoring Program

Looking for after school care that provides pickup from school transportation, home-work help, and engaging group activities? Well look no further, Ms. Crusen's Kids after school program has just what you need. This is one of 3 rooms for small group instruction. Transportation provided from Tavares and Triangle Elementary schools. Families from other schools or homeschool co-ops are welcome to attend as a dropoff.

Whether supporting your current school, homeschool, or co-ops' curriculum; or providing individualized lesson plans for ELA and Math, we meet your child where they are. We have several teachers to meet your availability during the day or afterschool.
