One-on-One Tutoring
I provide individualized tutoring tailored to your child’s needs, available in your home or at my tutoring center. I support homeschool co-ops and classroom curricula, and offer thorough assessments of academic levels, social-emotional skills, and executive functioning to create customized lesson plans. After-school one-on-one sessions are also available, delivered by myself or my staff of certified teachers. Families can easily seek reimbursement through Step Up: PEP and Unique Abilities funding with a simple invoice, resulting in little to no out-of-pocket cost. Don't wait for midyear scores to show your child needs help. I also give gifted students ways to improve their academics through life "coaching". Your child will make gains when skills are reinforced and learning is filled with hands-on concrete activities that make sense.
After-School Group Tutoring: Ms. Crusen’s Kids
Does your child need an after school learning environment that is calm and cozy?
Located at The Little Learning Loft
(311 N Joanna Ave, Suite 170, Downtown Tavares), this program serves students from PreK to 5th grade, including those from Tavares Elementary and Triangle Elementary. Certified teachers provide healthy snacks, targeted homework help, small-group academic instruction, and structured indoor/outdoor activities to build social and life skills.
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM; Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
Educational Consulting
Drawing on my experience as a special education teacher in both self-contained and general education settings, I offer expert consulting for special education, IEPs, 504 plans, and the MTSS process. Services include assessments, plan development, goal-setting, school collaboration, and parent advocacy to ensure your child receives appropriate accommodations and practical strategies for success.
